About Event

We're excited to share a bit about how we've been using Generative AI tools like Dall-e to create service storyboards as part of our work at Made Manifest.

We are very much NOT experts in this, and thought it would be fun to get some service designers together to share notes, discuss and experiment with these tools.

In this 90 minute session we will cover:

  • How we've been using GenAI to create service storyboards

  • Our tips and tricks and issues we've run into

  • Examples (with clients anonymized) from real projects on how we've used these to do journey mapping, future state visioning and concept testing

  • A chance for you to experiment with a tool hands on

  • Pitfalls and ethical considerations

  • Q& A // Discussion

Pricing is sliding scale to enable participation and accessibility.

If you sign up for a free spot and can no longer attend, please cancel your registration to free up a spot for someone else.

This session will not be recorded, because let's face it, we all have enough to do without adding watching a replay to the list.

To select the ticket option that feels right for you, draw on the wisdom and example of Holly Poole-Kavana at Red Bird Botanicals. I learned of this framework through the work of Liisbeth.com and the Feminist Enterprise Commons, who were introduced to it by CV Harquail. Holly created this guidance (below) which I cite with gratitude.

Consider choosing a lower ticket level if you:

  • are supporting children or have other dependents

  • have significant debt

  • have medical expenses not covered by insurance

  • receive public assistance

  • have immigration-related expenses

  • are an elder with limited financial support

  • are an unpaid community organizer

Consider a higher ticket level if you:

  • own the home you live in

  • have investments, retirement accounts, or inherited money

  • travel recreationally

  • have access to family money and resources in times of need

  • work part time by choice

  • have a relatively high degree of earning power due to level of education (or gender and racial privilege, class background, physical ability, etc.) Even if you are not currently exercising your earning power, I ask you to recognize this as a choice
