Farmers, Food and our Future
On September 24, Bayer, HowGood, Clim-Eat, 4SD Foundation, Cornell Hudson Valley Research Laboratory, World Business Council for Sustainable Development (WBCSD), and U.S. Farmers and Ranchers in Action (USFRA) will jointly host an interactive, multistakeholder event aimed at proposing actionable inputs and priorities for climate resilience and COP30.
The event will be based on insights shared by farmers during the September 21 field visit to Hudson Valley, serving as the cornerstone of the conversation. The dialogue will be shaped from the ground up, ensuring that emerging propositions are rooted in reality and practice, with farmers at the center.
Participants will engage in parallel roundtable discussions focused on strengthening farmer resilience and sustainable food production. Expert facilitators and fire starters will guide these discussions,
fostering a deep, cross-sector dialogue that encourages innovative thinking on how to increase food systems resilience in the face of climate change.
The outcomes of the dialogue will synthesize key takeaways and shape our contribution to COP 30, in Brazil during November 2025.
This invitation-only dialogue offers a unique opportunity to co-create regenerative solutions rooted in farmers' lived realities.
