Marcin Piątkowski
Professor of Economics at Kozminski University in Warsaw, the highest ranked business school in Central and Eastern Europe, and Lead Economist at the World Bank in Washington DC. Previously a Chief Economist and Managing Director of PKO BP, the largest bank in Central and Eastern Europe, economist in the European Department of the IMF and Advisor to IMF's Executive Director. Visiting Scholar at Harvard University, OECD Development Centre and London Business School.
Author of the bestseller book “Europe's Growth Champion: Insights from the Economic Rise of Poland", published by Oxford University Press in 2018. The book was endorsed by the world’s top economists, and reviewed by the Financial Times.

Noah Smith is an American blogger, journalist, and commentator on economics and current events. A former assistant professor of Behavioral Finance at Stony Brook University, Smith writes for his own Substack blog, Noahpinion, with over 240,000 subscribers. Noah has also written for publications including Bloomberg, Quartz, Associated Press, Business Insider, and The Atlantic. Smith left Bloomberg in 2021 to fully focus on his own blog. Currently lives in San Francisco with two pet rabbits, Cinnamon and Constable Giggles.
