As we gather in our zoom temple we will honour the ancient traditions of Imbolc, a Celtic festival that marks the midpoint between the winter solstice and the spring equinox.
We will be invoking the Goddess Brigid (also known as Bride, Bridget, or Brighid), a prominent figure in Celtic mythology and the British Isles.
The combination of fire and water in Brigid’s mythology highlights her role as a harmoniser of opposites and a source of balance.
Fire represents energy and transformation, while water symbolises life and healing. Together, they reflect her role as a goddess of renewal, creation, and sustenance.
Brigid embodies hope, renewal, and the sustaining forces of life, guiding her followers through the transitional time between winter’s darkness and spring’s burgeoning light.
Our ritual will begin promptly at 7:00 PM, where we will co-create a sacred space to reflect on the past and set our intentions for the coming months.
