CLIMATE TECH VENTURES: Shaping a Sustainable Future
It’s the UCL Festival of Engineering and WilbeLAB is co-hosting an evening with scientists, engineers and innovators in the Climate tech ecosystems of UCL, IDEALondon and Wilbe. Panelists include Dr Ilan Adler, founder of UCL agri-tech startup EcoNomad, and Sushma Shankar, co-founder of IDEALondon startup Deep Planet, and panel chair Nithin Bopanna, climate tech venture associate with Wilbe.
This event will focus on the intersection of renewable energy, water resources, and sustainable agriculture, highlighting how integrated solutions can drive climate mitigation and adaptation. Our discussions will revolve around innovative solutions and their scaling from research and development to real-world applications. We will explore the roles of startups, funding strategies, and overcoming challenges to implement these solutions effectively.
