Reading Rhythms Los Angeles Chapter: May 31st
A Reading Party by the Sea ⛵
Reading Rhythms is heading to the Westside for an outdoor weekend reading party—and we’re bringing the magic to the marina.
Set in the heart of Marina del Rey, Burton Chace Park is a lush, 10-acre green space surrounded on three sides by water. With sweeping views of sailboats and the harbor, this tranquil setting is perfect for slowing down and connecting with your love of reading. It’s peaceful, breezy, and _just far enough_ from the noise of the city to feel like a real escape.
Join us for an afternoon of immersive reading, good company, and ambient soundscapes. Bring any book you like, and we’ll guide you through our signature rhythm:
Structured silent reading
Gentle 1-on-1 breakouts
Group discussion that weaves together the voices and stories in the park
What to Bring:
A book (or two!)
Any blankets, pillows, or chairs to make yourself comfortable
Food & drinks (picnic-style encouraged)
Whether you come solo, with a friend, or looking to meet fellow readers, this event is a chance to connect—with your book, with yourself, and with a new kind of community.
We can’t wait to read with you.
