​Join us for an impactful event focused on addressing the lack of career advancement as a root cause of gun violence, especially in Black communities, and promoting community healing.

​Event Highlights:

• ​Panel Discussion: Featuring experts who will raise awareness about the connection between economic disadvantage and gun violence. Gain insights from thought leaders and practitioners working on the front lines of this critical issue.

• ​"Black Joy" Healing Session: Experience traditional indigenous African methods of community healing, through dance, music, and drumming. This session aims to promote collective healing and resilience in the face of trauma caused by gun violence.

• ​Career Fair: Connect with employers committed to offering opportunities to individuals impacted by gun violence and those at high risk. Enhance your employability with resume writing workshops, job search strategies, and financial literacy skills.
