​Workshop will be given by Katie Gwartney Roehlk, J.D.

​Katie compassionately helps seniors navigate the legal aspects of aging, guides families through legacy planning and creatively tackles business issues. She’s in solo practice as the founding attorney at Sage Legal Planning Law Firm, P.C. and is also a part-time workshop attorney with the Legal Resources for the Elderly Program through the New Mexico State Bar Foundation. She’s a former appellate law clerk for the Honorable Linda Vanzi and a twice cum laude graduate of the University of New Mexico (J.D. 2010, B.A. 2006). 

​Admitted to the State Bar of New Mexico 2010.

​Education:

• ​J.D., cum laude, 2010 The University of New Mexico School of Law.

• ​B.A., cum laude, Political Science, 2006 from the University of New Mexico.

​Katie is married to Jonathan. They have dogs and cats who keep their days filled with joy. She’s a dedicated runner, loves sewing, cooking and playing handbells at First United Methodist Church.
