Over the last five years, Circle Economy Foundation has helped cities and regions advance the circular economy on the ground, providing data-driven baseline assessments and actively engaging with stakeholders. To learn more about Canada’s circular transition, check out:

  1. The Circularity Gap Report Quebec: This first regional Circularity Gap Report, published in partnership with RECYC-QUÉBEC, presents six scenarios to narrow Quebec's Circularity Gap.

  2. Insights into the first phase of the Circular Cities and Regions Initiative (CCRI): An immersive year of circular economy knowledge sharing and capacity building.

  3. Baselining for a Circular Toronto: A study commissioned by the City of Toronto to understand the city’s current state of circularity and resource use.

This is an Accelerator Session part of the World Circular Economy Forum 2024, the world’s leading event for circular economy thinkers, doers and leaders. Accelerator Sessions aim at bridging the forum’s themes with the daily work needed for a circular transition, giving an opportunity for deeper audience engagement and allowing deep dives into specific topics.
