You're invited to the Grand Opening of Portland’s first Latino-led mountaineering and outdoor gear center!
Since 2020, Loco por la Aventura has worked to create inclusive outdoor spaces that reflect the Latino community and all who’ve felt unseen or excluded in traditional adventure culture.
Thanks to volunteers, supporters, and a lot of heart, we’re proud to open our new home:

This isn’t just a gear shop—it’s a community center, a learning space, and a cultural refuge. We'll offer:
• Climbing, hiking, mountaineering, rafting & camping gear (Brand new and used) • Free workshops in Spanish, led by local community members • Programs designed to uplift historically excluded communities
Loco por la Aventura is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit (EIN: 99-4017872) 100% of proceeds support free outdoor education programs for youth, families, and future Latino outdoor leaders.
