About Event

The face of America continues to change. As we become more diverse, our political systems, public agencies and trained professionals must demonstrate requisite knowledge, skills, abilities and competencies to mind the gap between cultural awareness and social outcomes. In our pursuit of cultural competence, we must stand in the gap to bridge the 'cultural divide.' We must intentionally demonstrate cultural proficiencies to make government work for all.

Join this workshop on evidence-based decision making and evaluative approaches in diversity, equity and inclusion to learn more about: 1) Framing Diversity Policies 2) Examining Professional Programs 3) Advancing Equitable Practices 4) Operationalizing Racial Equity
