About Event

UIC SALSA, Kent SALSA, Northwestern SALSA, UIC APALSA, Loyola APALSA, DePaul APALSA, and the Midwest Director of NASALSA are excited to present the FIRST-EVER Holi Mela! Celebrate Holi (the festival of colors, eternal love, and spring!) with food, drinks, arts, activities, and a good time. All proceeds go to the South Asian Solidarity Movement!

Holi is a celebration of the eternal and divine love of Radha-Krishna as well as the triumph of good over evil as it commemorates the victory of Vishnu as Narasimha over Hiranyakashipu.

Traditional attire is encouraged!

For all attendees fasting, a separate space and food will be set aside for you to break your fast when the time comes. If you have any questions or concerns, please reach out to us.
