What
The away day offers you a full day away from client work to dedicate to your business. It is time to reflect and plan ahead to help you start the new year on the right foot.
Across the day we’ll cover three areas:
Reflection — a look back on the past year to review what happened and where you are now.
Intention — turning to the year ahead to create a vision for your business and set your intentions or goals for 2023.
Action — using your intentions to create a plan of action, breaking everything down into manageable steps.
There will be solo reflective and strategic activities, as well as opportunities to share and talk to fellow freelancers about your experiences, challenges and plans.
You will get a digital workbook (available in a variety of formats). This will include all the activities we’ll work through plus space to capture your notes from the day.

When and where
Our in person away day is taking place at The Lamp House in Newcastle upon Tyne. This warm and friendly co-working space is easily accessible from Central Station via the Metro and local bus routes.
The day will run from 9:30AM to 4PM. That will be split into two sessions either side of a 1 hour lunch break, where a buffet lunch will be provided.
Our home for the day is the Lumen Suite, situated on the first floor at The Lamp House. There is one flight of stairs to access the room so please bear this in mind when booking.
Cancellation policy
You can cancel before 1 November for a full refund (minus the processing of around £10).
After 1 November you can pass on your booking to someone else (just email to let me know who your replacement is).
