Kenny Schachter, Artist, Writer, & NFT Advocate
Kenny Schachter is an artist, writer, curator, art collector, and NFT advocate who has been a dynamic force in the art world for over 30 years. Known for his candid and humorous columns on Artnet, Schachter critiques the traditional art market while championing digital art and NFTs.
He has co-curated groundbreaking NFT exhibitions, including “NFTism: No Fear in Trying” in London in 2021, and a survey of his own art—an exhibition of sculpture, painting, and installation with digital counterparts for each physical work—is currently on view at Galerie Nagel Draxler in Cologne, entitled “Phone Face."
Schachter is also an in-demand teacher on the subjects of art history and economics in addition to NFTs, and has lectured at prestigious institutions including Yale University, Columbia University, Harvard Law School, and the University of Zurich.
