​About Sugano Matsusaki:
Sugano Matsusaki is a calligrapher from Okinawa, Japan, with over 25 years of experience.
Her work is rooted in traditional techniques, yet it opens a dialogue between discipline and intuition.
Through her brushwork, lines echo with rhythm and evoke the contours of a landscape.

​About Shodō:
Shodō, or Japanese calligraphy, is the art of writing with brush and ink.
It is a quiet, introspective practice rooted in the belief that beauty arises from simplicity, balance, and the deep connection between breath and body movement.
