About the Author:
Indi Young is a freelance researcher who coaches, writes, and teaches about inclusive software strategy. Her work is rooted in the problem space, which she separates completely from any ideation, prototypes, testing, or development. Indi pioneered mental model diagrams and thinking styles to help teams truly pay attention to people, without letting cognitive bias and assumptions creep in.
In 2008, her book Mental Models was published, which introduced the problem space research method. Her second book, Practical Empathy, was released in 2015, and she narrated it for Audible in 2016. She also runs a series of advanced online training about the importance of pushing the boundaries of your perspective.
Indi began her career as a software engineer and then moved into interaction design. She worked with early tablets, and was one of the founders of Adaptive Path, the pioneering UX agency responsible for knowledge sharing via many channels.
About the events:
This is a series of events for Knowledge transfer from credible sources like books, credible authors, experts.
We all have this long list of videos we wish to watch, the audio book or podcast we want to tune in, the book we wanted to read. But in this fast-paced world, we often don't get around to it. So why not come together with great individuals and consume one piece at a time and discuss the content and learnings with others afterwards :)
Upcoming Watch parties and topics:

About Employed.world
Employed.world is a job seeker community in Germany. In the current job market there are many highly capable people finding it hard to navigate the market and often feeling that the journey is isolated. No matter if you are a junior, mid level, senior, new manager or even a leader. Imposter syndrome, self doubts and often a lack of support are among the many hurdles one faces. On the other hand we have so many professionals in UX and Product including working professionals, seniors, mentors who would be happy to share their experiences and help someone in need. So we are attempting to increase the interaction between these two groups through our events.
