About Event

Dates

The exhibition runs for three days, from May 8 to 10. The opening ceremony starts on May 8th at 18h.

About the exhibition

Salon, O Primeiro marks Subjektiv's debut in Portugal, introducing a fresh perspective on contemporary art engagement. This exhibition brings together 25 contemporary artists challenging how we engage with art.

With a selection of artists and artworks that have been defining Lisbon and Portugal’s artistic landscape Subjektiv invites viewers to think about subjectivity in art, and how an artwork can be an object you can live with, creating an inspirational symbiosis between the artwork and the viewer.

A three-day immersion of colours, feelings, and creative expression is just the beginning. The available collection at the date will remain accessible at Subjektiv.art platform, allowing for a continued engagement with the artworks.

Curation: Subjektiv & Francisco Duarte Coelho

Each of the works can be purchased if you have the courage to become part of its story.

The exhibition is organized by Subjektiv.art, a global platform that is changing the art world. At Subjektiv, we believe that art serves as a mirror and a tool for self-discovery, better than any therapy. We strive to reclaim art from the elitist world of the chosen few and make it more open to experience, purchase, and own.
