About this "post-lecture" event:
The Charles Babbage Institute, housed at the University of Minnesota, is hosting a UX & HCI history lecture on Jan 28 by Aaron Marcus, “a pioneer in computer graphics, and (an) award-winning designer.”
This meetup is a follow-up event for community members who want to discuss the content of the lecture.
The lecture itself will be delivered online about an hour before the discussion, and it will be the responsibility of folks to watch it on their own. The lecture is free and open to the public, **but registration is required**. For registration and other details, visit the official University of Minnesota event page.
Note: There is also an effort underway to organize an in-person group viewing of the lecture. If this occurs, we expect that this virtual-only discussion to become a hybrid event. We'll also update this Luma event description.
