Product Design Metrics, part of #BelfastTechWeek
Join us for an in-depth session dedicated to one of the most complex and often misunderstood topics in UX and Product Design: metrics.
Why do we need them? When should we use them? What kinds of metrics actually matter, and in which contexts?
This session is all about demystifying metrics, understanding their purpose, and sharing real-world experiences of when and how to use them effectively, and when not to.
It is a space for open discussion, practical insights, and collective learning around one of the most critical yet challenging aspects of our design practice.
Many designers believe that working with metrics is not part of their job, thinking it belongs to business analysts, product managers, or some other team that delivers the numbers neatly on a tray. But how can a designer truly improve a digital product without a clear understanding of what metrics matter and how they reflect user behavior? This session is here to challenge that assumption.
We will talk about why metrics are an essential part of design work and how embracing them can make us better, more strategic designers.
This event is hosted by the Belfast UX & Product Design Community. BelfastUX is not run by a single person but by the community itself.
This event is part of #BelfastTechWeek, a week of events curated by the tech community for the tech community.
