Seminar - The future of decision making and AI Governance: Predictive Liquid Democracy and Flowback

​Join us as developer and philosopher Emil Svenberg gives a talk about Predictive Liquid Democracy and Flowback!

​What it will be about:

​As old decision making paradigms are becoming increasingly slow and outdated, especially given the rapid progress with AI, new technologies must be applied for improved decision making systems for organizations. We propose a new kind of decision making system called "predictive liquid democracy", combining both the collective intelligence of prediction markets with the decision making efficiency of liquid democracy at once.

​The talk will have multiple stages. First an explanation of what predictive liquid democracy is and a live-demo of Flowback, the program which we have been developing over the last few years. Secondly some of our theoretical considerations published in Hagberg & Kazen's 2023 article, with the Jury theorems, forecasting theory and social choice theory for why our system may be optimal. Lastly we demonstrate how AI can be implemented in Flowback, aswell as how flowback can be implemented in AI governance to help solve coordination problems and outer alignment. Finishing off with Q&A.
