​Beyond Earthbound, together with Space Pride, is inviting everyone to join us for the continuation of the Space Fashion Series! We’re excited to welcome everyone to this talk, which is dedicated to homemade space fashion, cosplay, and more, featuring our wonderful speaker, Alex Ryan!👗👩‍🚀✨

​Alex Ryan got her Honours degree in Astrophysics at Monash University, Australia, before moving into the role of Academic Coordinator at the International Space University in France. Alex was part of the team that delivered educational programs across multiple countries, including Australia, France, Spain, Portugal, The Netherlands, and Brazil.

​Alex now works as a Project Manager with the University of South Australia on the SCARLET-⍺: SpaceCraft Autonomy and Onboard AI for Next Generation Space Systems project alongside SmartSatCRC, Deakin University, Swinburne University of Technology, and Saab.

​In her personal life, Alex has competed in cosplay competitions since 2015, winning and placing a few times. She has a great passion for homemade fashion and combining fashion and the space industry.
