Pitched Your Idea, Turing Fest Fringe
Are you super early in your startup journey? Want a fun way to work on your pitch? This relaxed morning event right before Turing Fest begins for the day is a great way to get out of your own head and have some fun while learning a bit about how your idea comes across.
This event is very kindly sponsored and hosted by Johnston Carmichael.
Who this is for: Super early-stage founders who are just starting out or are still working out how to position their idea or startup.
During the session, you'll get into small groups and explain your idea to everyone else. Then, they'll take turns pitching your idea back to you. You'll find that they'll pick up on things you might not have thought of previously, or they might leave out something that wasn't clear. Either way, you'll have several new examples of your pitch and will be able to use them either for inspiration (alternative language or structure) or instruction (clarity lacking, or more or less detail might be required, etc).
