About the Sentinel Awards

This event is more than just an awards presentation; it’s a chance to celebrate and uplift leaders who's work is often thankless. Each recipient represents a drive within each of us to protect what we love. This event is about making connections that sustain our movement in the years ahead, and uplifting stories from our movement.

Keynote and Guest Speakers

We are honored to welcome keynote speaker Dr. Carolyn Finney, a cultural geographer and storyteller, and guest speaker Eddie Mitchell, a grassroots organizer from Ireland who has worked to ban fracking and prevent LNG development. There will also be music, recipient speeches, and an online networking component for anyone who arrives early!
