​About Aravind Srinivas: Aravind Srinivas is the co-founder and CEO of Perplexity AI. Backed by Nat Friedman, Elad Gil, Jeff Dean, Susan Wojcicki, Yann LeCun, Paul Buchheit, Andrej Karpathy, and others, Perplexity AI has built the world's first generally available conversational answer engine that directly answers questions about any topic. He previously earned a Ph.D. in Computer Science from UC Berkeley. He worked at companies including OpenAI, DeepMind, and Google. There he worked in many AI fields — RL problems with policy gradient algorithms, large-scale contrastive learning, and, of course, language and diffusion generative models.
