About Event

How do we stay grounded when the ground beneath us feels like it’s unstable and constantly shifting? With an escalating constitutional crisis, the rise of authoritarianism, and a constant flood of anxiety, grief, and anger, many of us feel overwhelmed, exhausted, and untethered. How do we navigate stress and uncertainty without becoming paralyzed or burned out?

Resilience isn’t something we either have or don’t have—it’s something we can build. Each of us has a window of tolerance for stress, and when that window is narrow, uncertainty and adversity can leave us feeling stuck in anxiety, panic, or shutdown. But we can widen our window by making intentional choices that help our nervous system recover, increasing our ability to access clarity, agency, and strength during times of crisis.

This interactive workshop will explore the fundamentals of stress, crisis, and trauma, how they impact the nervous system, and what we can do to stay regulated and responsive in high-pressure situations. Through practical exercises, discussion, and reflection, you’ll learn how to recognize when you’re outside your window of tolerance and develop concrete tools to restore balance so you can face uncertainty with greater capacity and resilience.
