Ethics Bowl – A Fun and Engaging Discussion of Real-World Ethical Dilemmas

Join us for an exciting, fast-paced Ethics Bowl event where you and your peers will debate real-world ethical dilemmas in a friendly and collaborative environment! This two-hour session will challenge participants to think critically and engage in thoughtful discussions on complex moral issues, all while fostering teamwork and respect for diverse perspectives.
Event Format:
Teams: 2-4 teams
Rounds: Two rounds, each featuring a new ethical case.
How it works: One team presents an analysis of the case; the other responds with questions or critiques. After each round, judges will ask questions, and teams will have a chance to clarify or rebut their arguments.
Time: 1-2 min prep, 5 min presentation, 3 min response, 3 min rebuttal, 5 min judge questions.
🧠 Participants will receive case materials in advance, and judges will score each round based on the depth of analysis, clarity of argument, and overall presentation.
🍕 Enjoy free food and beverages as you engage with complex ethical topics in a relaxed, informal way.

Participation in case analysis is on a first-come, first-served basis, but everyone is welcome to attend as a spectator.
