Aims
These sessions are for organisations aiming to get the best out of their volunteer recruitment using Volunteering Wales. They will explain how to use the platform and give tips on better volunteer recruitment practices along the way.
Content
The relaunched Volunteering Wales links volunteers with organisations looking for volunteers. The new website is easier to use for both volunteers and organisations and is an extremely accessible way to grow a volunteer base and help connect the public to the voluntary sector.
During the course, you will:
Find out how to register on the platform and create your organisation profile
Discover how to create effective volunteer adverts
Get guidance on how to manage volunteers
Be signposted to all available areas of support

Learn how to post volunteer adverts
Better understand how to attract volunteers
Know how to record volunteer hours
Who this course is for
This webinar is suitable for anyone from any organisation who works with volunteers and has registered or is interested in Volunteering Wales, and we would welcome you to sign up.
Course requirements
To ensure you have the best experience on our courses we ask the following of you;
Commit to attend the full duration of the training
Test your access to Teams
Training will commence promptly, please arrive 10 minutes prior to the start time, as late arrivals may not admitted
Our courses are interactive and engaging and we request where possible, that all learners have camera’s on and participate via microphone and chat facilities
Let us know upon booking if you have any specific requirements ie BSL interpreters
