Trust Infrastructure Day by Hylé & Aztec
tl;dr: Come along for a day of talks and workshops exploring the intersection of cryptography, attestations, and novel social technology.
The impact of zero-knowledge cryptography is vastly underestimated. The affordances it creates gives us the opportunity to deeply re-imagine how we experience our digitally-mediated environments, and the relationships we form within them.
Spontaneous sociability – the ability to easily establish groups big and small, to coordinate in a permissionless and emergent way – depends on social and technological infrastructure built over millennia. The past 3 decades (as a consequence of the emergence and growth of the internet) has seen this infrastructure pushed far beyond its safe operating envelope, and it is now our responsibility to renew it for the generations to come.
Programmable cryptography opens up a frontier previously inaccessible to us. Join us to discuss, explore, and map this new territory over a day of talks and workshops.
