About The Speakers
Yeruwelle de Rouen is an insightful leader with a diverse background in counseling psychology, philosophy, critical race theory, and restorative organizational development. Raised in a multi-ethnic, American home in New Mexico as the oldest of seven and homeschooled, she developed a deep understanding of the intersections between identity, power dynamics, and personal liberty. Her identity as a multi-ethnic, light-skinned BIPOC cis-woman informs her work, inspiring her to explore and challenge domination structures that impede true collaboration. Yeruwelle’s dedication to continuous learning drives her to create spaces where equity and understanding can flourish.
Daishania Meeks has over 7 years of experience as a leader in EdTech and workforce development, she specializes in designing strategic training programs tailored to meet the fast-paced world of technology. Her expertise lies in developing end-to-end learning solutions for both B2B and B2C audiences, focusing on skill-building that aligns with the evolving needs of the tech industry. Daishania supports organizations by integrating customized curriculum design and innovative delivery methods, to help drive overall growth objectives and remain competitive. Her recent work involved designing and launching a 10-module AI training program focused on helping consumers effectively use AI in job-related searches and professional development, which was later adopted into “Adobe's Digital Marketing Academy” that supports employees’ transitions in promotional pathways.
Kate Hermosura, EdD serves as the Lead of Women’s Wellbeing & Leadership Development at Seekher Foundation. She has over 13 years of experience across a range of educational contexts working directly with students, parents, schools, and allied health professionals. As a critical feminist scholar and practitioner, her research focuses on the intersection of identity, leadership, and critical feminism in developing diverse and inclusive leaders to transform organizations. She brings passion, energy, and expertise in leadership development, community building, and strategic partnerships. She is committed to amplifying women, expanding access to mental health, and supporting the use of outdoor spaces as tools for healing and connection. Kate holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Social Behavior, a Master's degree in Public Health, and an Education Doctorate degree in Organizational Leadership.
