SATURDAY

12:30 - 1:45 Class 1 - Bodytalk: Communicating with Flow & Finesse
Create a dance dialogue grounded in comfortable connection, effortless synchronization, and the freedom of flow.
1:45-2 break/practica/warmup
2-3 Class 2 - The Roots & Fruits of Fusion
Develop a broader understanding and mastery of your expressive palette by exploring the diversity and commonalities found in fusion’s cultural influences.
3-3:15 break/practica/warmup
3:30-4:30 Class 3 - Turning up the Heat
Build up progressively advanced turns and rotation variations, where you can play with intensity levels and use them to create climactic moments as well as a sustained meditative flow.

Dancing with music is a multi-sensory art form. By developing our relationship with what we hear and drawing inspiration from visual arts, we will hone the power to transform our own and our partner’s bodies into living evolving artworks.

1:45-2:45 Class 2 - Switching without Hitching
Smooth, seamless and effortless transitions are the heart and soul of changing roles! Develop this delicate art with a variety of techniques and intuitive responsiveness to achieve greater freedom and finesse in any dance.
2:45-3 break/practica/warmup
3-4:30 Class 3 - Better than Binary
Acquire an enticing array of modular components that make for delicious dancing in groups of three or more partners. Arielle & Brendan will be joined by their longtime collaborator Kelly Epstein to offer you some scalable configurations, practical connection, and specific moves to foster both comfort and creativity.
ENTRY:
• OPTION 1: FULL WORKSHOP PASS: sliding scale, $40–200, suggested: $120. This all-inclusive workshop ticket covers 3 Saturday workshops and 3 Sunday workshops.
• OPTION 2: SATURDAY: sliding scale, $30–150 (suggested: $90). This ticket includes the 3 Saturday workshops.
• OPTION 3: SUNDAY: sliding scale, $30–150 (suggested: $90). This ticket includes the 3 Sunday workshops.
• NOTE: The Full Workshop Pass is only available until end of day 5/24. Entry fee goes toward paying our venue, instructor, supplies; it also helps to fund future Eclipse events.
COVID PRECAUTIONS: This event is mask optional. HOWEVER, COVID testing is required.
You can bring a picture of a negative result from the past 24 hours (including one from the workshops). We will have free COVID tests in case you need one. As always, we welcome and encourage masks, especially at this time of year. We will provide masks for anyone who wants one for the evening.

• Light refreshments will be provided. We encourage you to bring your own water bottle.
