About Event

WHAT ⭐️:

• Join us for an exclusive presentation and virtual fireside chat with Qualia Research Institute's Andrés Gómez-Emilsson, FAU Complex Systems Professor William Edward Hahn and Professor Elan Barenholtz, and Qualia Research Institute Researcher Eliade Weismann.

TOPICS:

Andrés will be presenting on: How is it possible that in a universe made of atoms and forces, we can experience a 'screen of consciousness'? Human experience resembles a diorama-like, theater-shaped mini world-simulation. But who is seeing this simulation, and from what point of view? How do the sensations coalesce into a geometrically consistent space? Andrés will discuss this problem and present heuristics and pointers that might potentially be able to solve it in a conceptually satisfying way.
