Exploring Ancient Chinese Characters from Biblical Perspectives with Dr Joseph Cheong

​Dr. Joseph Cheong, has been pastoring in Singapore and later in Australia for more than 25 years and was the founding member of Family First Australia and Advisor to the Melbourne Chinese Churches Convention. By his theological doctorate thesis entitled, ‘A Compendium of the Chinese Characters with a Biblical Perspectives’, he has printed his book ‘Reveal 示’ last year during the Covid-19 pandemic. Instead of being locked down at his home in Melbourne, he experienced three quarantines in Thailand, Taiwan and Singapore respectively, sharing Biblical Chinese Alphabet to more than 3,000 participants via Zoominars and live seminars. The ancient Chinese characters has more than 6000 years of interrupted history and these characters are still used today.
