Agenda:

A short hello and introduction.

  • 10:15 am – 10:40 am - Eliminating the "Runs on My Machine" Problem: A Developer's Guide (Ivan Burazin)

As a developer, novice or skilled, setting up your environment and dependencies is a common problem. More often than not, you run into the "runs on my machine" issue. Rid yourself of this problem once and for all and focus on what you do best - code.

  • 10:40 am – 11:00 am - Writing a file carver from scratch - Carvey the Carver (Gaurav Gogia)

Recovering deleted files or rather "carving" files out of unallocated spaces is one of the most important aspects of digital forensics. Almost every forensic analysis requires recovering either fully deleted or partially deleted or overwritten files. In this workshop, let's build our own file carver to recover JPEG files from scratch. The workshop will NOT use ANY external libraries for writing a file carver. The workshop will discuss header-footer file carving algorithm and its implementation. Aim of this workshop is to teach about file systems, file system forensics, digital forensics, and file carving algorithms in-depth. All the code in the workshop will be in Go programming language.

  • 11:00 am – 11:20 am - Inside Cody: How OpenCtx Powers a Smarter AI Coding Assistant (Naman Kumar)

Cody, the AI-powered coding assistant, is transforming how developers code. In this talk, we’ll explore how Cody leverages the open-source OpenCtx protocol to connect with multiple data sources, enhancing its ability to provide smarter, context-aware coding suggestions. Plus, get an inside look at how Cody is built for seamless integration.

  • 11:20 am - 11:45 am - Contributing to Open Source Can Change Your Life (Ivan Burazin)

GitHub is the new resume. Contributing to open-source projects on GitHub can change your life by building your skills, collaboration, and reputation within the software development community.
