Join us for a special event where the Ai Salon joins with BlueDot Impact for an evening of connection and facilitated discussion around AI's impact on society, AI alignment and AI governance.
Whether you're a member of BlueDot's AI Safety Fundamentals community, a part of the Ai Salon or simply interested in what AI means for our future — we'd love to have you at this meet up where we'll connect with other Responsible AI enthusiasts.
AI isn't just a technical topic. Instead, it is a technically-coded mirror to reflect how humanity is advancing. Grappling with it is grappling with our human journey and draws on philosophy, history, sociology, and yes, scientific and technological perspectives. Thinking about AI sharpens conversations around humanity's power, our progress, and our direction by giving focus to what is otherwise vague musings.
AI alignment and AI governance are crucial aspects of that conversation, as we collectively imagine and orchestrate how we want to build and govern the technology that will impact us all.
Event format: We'll put everyone into small groups with a topic to discuss (related to AI's impact on our lives, including through AI alignment and AI governance). Then we'll shuffle up the groups and topics throughout the night.
If you arrive late, look for Cecilia, Ian or Jasmina. One of us will catch you up on the discussion topic and put you in a group.
