​Amar is co-founder and CEO of Bito. Bito helps developers dramatically accelerate their impact by bringing AI to their everyday workflows and practices.  Bito is used by over 100,000 developers to write code, write test cases, explain code, ask questions, etc, and developers from the world’s best companies such as Apple, Amazon, Tesla, Nvidia, and Microsoft use it every day. Developers using Bito are 31% more productive.

​Prior to Bito, Amar founded PubMatic in 2006, serving as the company’s first CEO and is currently Chairman.  PubMatic created the world’s first programmatic ad exchange, now an over $100B annual market.  PubMatic went public in 2020 and currently trades on the NASDAQ stock exchange: PUBM. 

​In addition to PubMatic, Amar has previously led sales for a digital advertising business for Microsoft in the US, and worked at McKinsey & Co. and Netscape in a variety of consulting and engineering roles.

​He holds a master’s degree in Computer Science and a bachelor’s degree in Economics from Harvard University.
