About Event

Alumni Roundtable will be an event series taking place in April and May to showcase Forge women alumni and their career paths as part of this year's Launch gender equity initiative.

The event will have two parts: a discussion between Maddie and a Forge team member covering topics like finding a career path, excelling in an internship, and gender equity in the workplace, as well as an an audience Q&A.

Read more about Maddie's career path below:
Maddie is a 2019 UVA grad with a degree in Sociology. She is also a Forge alum and was a TA for the Vector semester program in Graphic Design during her time at Forge. During her undergraduate career she served as a marketing intern for the Tom Tom Foundation and co-founded Femme Funk, an annual benefit concert which showcased women-fronted bands and solo acts. After graduating, she worked as a Social Media Manager and Graphic Designer at oneTILT and most recently she has joined Reach Higher as a Creative Design Manager.
