About Event

Alumni Roundtable will be an event series taking place in April and May to showcase Forge women alumni and their career paths as part of this year's Launch gender equity initiative.

The event will have three parts: a discussion between Kate and a Forge team member covering topics like finding a career path, excelling in an internship, and gender equity in the workplace. Kate will also be sharing a presentation that covers what it's like to work in VC. There will also be time for audience Q&A.

Read more about Kate's career path below:
Kate is a 2019 UVA grad with a BS in Finance from the McIntire School of Commerce. She is also a Forge alum and served on the leadership team as the Public Events Manager, the Managing Director, and the Programs Director during her time at Forge. During her undergraduate career she served as a Support and Payments Lead for StartSomeGood, an Impact Evaluation Intern at Ashoka, and a Summer Associate at Summit Partners. After graduating, she received a Fulbright Scholarship where she created and published content about nationalism and Hungarian identity which was published by the European Commission Horizon 2020 Project. Most recently, she joined Seedcamp, Europe's seed investment fund, as an Associate.

Kate is excited to discuss working in the field of Venture Capital, gender equity in the workplace, finding a career path out of college, and more!
