Transforming conflict in organising and campaign groups

Resist + Renew is thrilled to be hosting another of our popular 2-day Conflict workshops. Here we explore approaches to conflict informed by the values of transformative justice, collective care and anti-oppression - this time in Bristol!

When conflict arises in our organising spaces, many of us struggle to put the transformative principles and values we hold into practice. This impacts our relationships in and with these spaces and creates more challenges to the already challenging work we came together to do. Resist + Renew has been developing some tools and activities to facilitate learning for people organising for social justice to feel more equipped to engage with conflict in their groups.

If you are the kind of person who is keen to:

  • Explore why we want to address conflict in our groups and interpersonally

  • Develop your understanding of the different reactions people can have to conflict (e.g. stress responses)

  • Learn some tools and frames to understand conflict when it happens

  • Build your confidence to engage with conflict through experiential practice

…We would love for you to join our workshop!
