Prenatal Yoga
Prepare your body for labor and connect with other mommas in this 75 minute class. This weekly yoga class will help you develop the skills needed to relax and move through labor with ease through movement, breath, and pelvic floor work.
• Location: Zoom
• Dates: Every Thursday from 10am-11:15am EST (New York timezone)
• Duration: Each class is 75 minutes long. We'll have 15 mins for introduction, 45 mins of yoga, and 15 mins of discussion at the end. I'm also a doula, so ask me any pregnancy/ birth questions during discussion!
• Level: All levels. You will be guided through each step, and will receive guidance and modifications to make each pose accessible for your body.
• Spaces are limited to ensure individualized focus.
I teach because I want to help mommas prepare for a beautiful labor & delivery. This is exactly what I did to have a peaceful, low-pain, unmedicated birth that I look back on with SO much love.
FAQ
Am I too beginner for this?
No. Show up as you are! I explain each movement in detail and give options for more experienced students. Class with me is never too difficult or too easy.
What if I have a pregnancy complication?
I will let everyone know when a pose should be modified, should you have a complication going on.
What do I need for class?
Yoga mat & water. Optional: pillow or bolster, 2 blocks or 2 more pillows, and/or blanket
When should I start prenatal yoga?
Anytime! Prenatal yoga is helpful all the way from the moment you find out you’re pregnant until you’re in labor.
