Workshop - Agents Embedded in the Real World - ft. Chris Butler - Staff Product Operations Manager at GitHub
Everyone has started to find use cases for 1:1 access to LLMs and generative AIs but what happens after they start being part of the world? In this talk Chris Butler will talk about the future of human and machine teaming for work, home, play, and life. With the new opportunities for the way we live our lives there are issues with identity, privacy, security, and more. Through a theory of animistic design, experience roleplay, and contextual integrity Chris will build a methodology for figuring out how these new agents should exist in this world.
Chris Butler is a chaotic good product manager, writer, and speaker. Through his practice in product management, operations, speculative fiction, and design fiction he will consider the impacts of new technologies that are on the horizon.
He has product leadership and operations experience at Microsoft, Waze, KAYAK, Facebook Reality Labs, Cognizant, and Google. Today he is Staff Product Operations Manager for GitHub's AI and Productivity team.
