Caryn Lavernia is VP and Senior Partner at Lab22c, where she supports companies and institutions in scaling teams, enhancing culture, and building meaningful partnerships and programs. She previously helped lead Community Engagement at Florida International University (FIU). She obsesses about Miami’s potential and is currently working on supporting the DoD in engaging the Miami tech ecosystem. Caryn served as a US Peace Corps Volunteer early in her career and is currently on sabbatical from a PhD program in Public Affairs at FIU.

His first startup, The X-Stream Network, pioneered free Internet access in Europe and was acquired for $75 million 2 years from launch and his last one, Global Study, an EdTech startup has revolutionized the use of Gen AI in the international student recruitment space. He is co-founder and CEO at OnCourse AI.
Jens (Rischbieth) is a former senior Facebook engineer who studied Computer Science at Brown University, focusing on artificial intelligence, machine learning, and the design and analysis of algorithms. At Facebook, he worked on the News Feed Ranking team, developing algorithms that prioritize content for users. He is now a co-founder and CTO at OnCourse AI.
Sebastian (Pastor Ferrari) is a data scientist with experience in Media & Entertainment, Telecom, and Mobile Apps. He studied at The George Washington University School of Business. Upon graduation, he founded a successful NPO, serving 20,000 plates and building 95 homes during hurricane Eta in Honduras. He then became an Analytical Lead at Google, and worked alongside Google’s large partners on research and evaluation of advertising efficiency. He’s now a head of product at OnCourse AI.
