🎤 Jane Tran is a seasoned operator, with 10+ years of experience in product development, strategic planning and process improvement. She is currently the co-founder and COO of Sixfold.ai ($15M Series A in May 2024), the first AI assistant for insurance underwriters. Prior to Sixfold, she was a founding member and COO of Unqork, a $2B enterprise SaaS company focused on enabling the world to turn their ideas into future proof software. She is an LP investor at The Fund XX, an early stage VC focused on supporting and investing in the next generation of female founders. She is also an active mentor for Techstars and Lair East Labs.
🎤 David Hojah has over 15 years of experience in AI, machine learning, medical devices, robotics, digital health, and neurotech. He studied mechanical engineering and health management at Harvard University. Passionate about social impact, David has developed numerous medical devices, including AR/VA games for kids, adaptive wheelchairs, medical drones, assistive robots, and health-tracking apps. He created an autonomous personal transporter for wheelchairs. Featured in outlets like Fast Company, Harvard Innovation Lab, and TechCrunch, David is recognized for his innovative contributions to empowering individuals with physical challenges.
🎤 Dovran Amanov, is a 3-time winner of the International Physics Olympiad. Dovran earned his Bachelor's degree at Hong Kong University of Science and Technology. His capstone project on brain-inspired computing was selected as the best project of 2019 in Hong Kong by judges from the Head of Innovation and Technology Commission of Hong Kong and Managing Partner of Sequoia Capital. This project led to the founding of NeuronSpike in 2019, the same year when he was admitted to the Harvard University Ph.D. program to work on brain-inspired computing. In 2021, he graduated from Harvard University with a master's degree and is now building NeuronSpike full-time.
🎤 Denzil Eden built Smarty, a conversational AI executive assistant that plans your best day, every day. A trailblazer as a solo female technical founder, Denzil carved her niche with an AI-focused degree from MIT, an MBA from Harvard, and a distinguished career at Microsoft. Denzil is devoted to making your life smarter with AI — enhancing routines, automating mundane tasks, and maximizing every minute. When she unplugs, Denzil plays the piano, authors fiction and op-eds, and sips teas.
🎤 Rein Wu is the founder and CEO of IndicatorLab. He received his PhD from the University of Houston in 2018 with the Best Ph.D. student honor in the computer science department. After graduation, Rein joined Visa Research as a research scientist on machine learning-based transaction risk analysis, time-series anomaly detection, and graph neural networks. He founded IndicatorLab in early 2023. Rein has published 20+ research papers in top AI conferences, filed 15+ patents, and holds five patents.
🎤 Lair East Labs is a startup accelerator based in New York that empowers founders to expand internationally. Each year, 10 startups join our 4-month onsite accelerator and receive investments of up to $150K.
