Join us for Healing Together Through Music, an experience presented by AIM 4 THE HEART! An all-inclusive night centered around art’s ability to heal, legendary music executive Leila Steinberg leads us through the intersection of art and community. Weaving together performance and dialogue, this dynamic evening inspires us to turn our passion into purpose and find sustainable, holistic ways of growing.
GUEST: Essence Carson
A Paterson, NJ native, Rosa Parks School of Fine and Performing Arts/Eastside High graduate and member of the Rutgers University Athletic Hall of Fame, Essence Carson is a 13-year WNBA veteran, All-Star, World Champion, philanthropist, speaker, and current music industry professional within the Universal Music Group.
GUEST: COURTNEY SIMONE
Courtney is a creative with a passion for community and drawing the connection between mental health and the arts. She uses her current pursuit of her doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology to educate her imagination and intentionality in the way she creates her art. Pain is a spectrum. It is an art and Courtney values finding the victory in survival of the pain. She utilizes poetry, songwriting, production, and mindfulness meditation to embody the art of healing. If she could describe her art in one phrase, it would reflect that of a black mindfulness movement.
GUEST: JP CALI SMOOV
JP Cali Smoov is a West Coast rapper and battle rap champion who, after a turbulent upbringing and early mentorship from Tupac’s former manager Leila Steinberg, turned his life around to inspire at-risk youth through music and advocacy. He has collaborated with major artists like Wiz Khalifa, achieved chart-topping success, authored poetry books on mental health, and expanded into acting with appearances in national commercials, web series, and films.
GUEST: STUART SUMMERVILLE
Stuart Summerville, a prodigious graduate of Indiana University and USC Gould School of Law, has built a career at the intersection of culture, entertainment, sports, and technology, offering innovative solutions shaped by his diverse experiences. In 2023, after years of dedicated service as an artist-facilitator and administrator, he became the Executive Director of AIM 4 The Heart, continuing his mission to promote humanity and Emotional Literacy.
