Early Learning, The Playful Way (18 months - 5 years)
Join Mysha for an engaging and informative event led by Beck Goodman, M.Ed, founder of Grow With Beck and a play-based early literacy specialist.
Designed for parents of children ages 18 months to 5 years, this session will offer a clear, research-backed look at how young children develop the academic skills that lay the foundation for reading, writing, and math—long before they enter a classroom.
Beck will guide us through what typical academic development looks like at each stage of early childhood, how to recognize when your child is ready for the next step, and how to support learning through everyday play and connection. You’ll leave with practical strategies, developmental insight, and a greater sense of confidence in your child’s unique learning path.
Whether you’re curious about when to start teaching letters, wondering if your toddler is “on track,” or hoping to make learning joyful at home, this event is for you.
Moderated by Kate Fisher, founder of Kate Fisher Tutoring and longtime Mysha member, with over 15 years of experience guiding NYC families through test preparation, academic support, and executive function coaching.
We are planning this event with thought and care in support of our community, and are keeping capacity low to ensure that those who attend can ask questions. We ask that you please honor your spot when RSVP'ing.
