​One of the biggest unsolved challenges in UX is designing interfaces that serve newbies and power users equally well. Most software ends up favoring one or frustrating both.
​The UI of tomorrow is likely to be transformed - both because in many cases AI will be the user - and because AI should allow us to create interfaces that adapt to the needs of different users.
​It’s possible that the trade-off between simplicity & power will evaporate as we learn to apply AI to the problem of UI.
​What if the blood, sweat and $$$ we invest today into building and training users on our UI could be redeployed (or pocketed)?
