About Event

Whitepaper Reading: Ethereum 2014

It's been more than 10 years since Ethereum first started. While lots have changed, somethings remain constant. We re-read the original Ethereum Whitepaper written by Vitalik Buterin in 2014, and rethink our path forward.

We will look to understand how Ethereum works by using Open Cert as an example.

​​​The Whitepaper Reading Club SG is a community of 350 passionate engineers, founders, core-devs, students, researchers who come together every month to read and discuss blockchain papers (website).

We create detailed and easy to understand summaries for each paper (summaries) and have held 30+ sessions since June 2023, covering topics from Account Abstraction, Parallel Chains, EIPs, Bitcoin Ecosystem to AIXCrypto. We are ecosystem-agnostic, not for profit and with a strong focus on projects with technical, product or social innovations.
