Ai Salon: Open-Source and Decentralization

​This debate will traverse the technical and the philosophical as we dive deep into the nature of high performance AI models and the fight for open-source software. Is it technically feasible to train and deploy performant models at-scale with decentralized infrastructure? Does the centralization of high performance models pose a threat to our social institutions or values of privacy and freedom?
