Sarai Schwartz is a gender-queer artist (they/she/he) born in New York, now an East Bay-based artist, has a multi-disciplinary approach to songwriting and poetry. They are predominantly self-taught through Youtube videos and have approached guitar through a highly experimental creative process. Sarai has undergone a process of healing from growing up in a religious cult (called the Unification Church), the challenges of growing up both Korean and Jewish, and the hurt of not being accepted by their parents for their trans identity. They've been playing for two nearly decades to master a unique sound that blends indie, soul, funk, and jazz influences into a dynamic, sonic tapestry.
Jenny Haniver - Jenny Haniver is a San Francisco based project with songs written and performed by Natasha Jong. She is accompanied by her band to create sounds that evoke both panic and peace; attempting to tow the line between what feels good and frightening. Sometimes dreamy, sometimes spooky, and sometimes chaotic, Jenny Haniver derives inspiration from many places but ultimately seeks to make music that is always honest, and always human.
