About Event

The Clean Energy Expo will bring together businesses, government entities, and NGOs to support Los Angeles' electrification goals and promote the clean energy transition. Attendees will have the opportunity to learn about the latest advancements in clean energy technologies, including electric vehicles, solar power, and energy-efficient home appliances.

The Clean Energy Expo will feature:

  • Keynote presentation from LADWP at 11am

  • How-to Tracks: 15-minute sessions on electrification topics for homeowners and consumers.

    • 10:15 am – Trent Wolbe, Harvest

      • Whole-home decarbonization with has landed in LA - and it's hotter (and more impactful) than an EV. Say hi to Harvest's smart thermal battery.

    • 10:30 am – JJ Morris, QuitCarbon

      • QuitCarbon provides free ENERGY STAR certified guidance along with vetted local contractors to upgrade your home with heat pumps, induction cooking, EV chargers, solar, batteries, and more. JJ Morris is here to share more about why and how you can make the switch to clean energy.

    • 10:45 am – Liz Freisen – Bird Rock Solar

      • Consumer fairness and rooftop solar installations

    • 11:00 am KEYNOTE – Jason Rondou, Chief of Staff, Power System – LADWP

    • 11:20 am – Zora Chung – ReJoule

      • Education on battery life cycle – help the EV curious make their next car an EV (and the confidence for it to be a used one!). For EV owners,learn how their battery is managed and how to get it tested.

    • 11:35 am – Colin Mangham – USGBC

      • C&I, both for the owners/landlords/offtakers of multifamily properties as well as the residents of such properties.
