Due to the pandemic, many companies have changed their workflow and have move from an office-based company into a remote one. Some concerns when working remotely are to keep up productivity, communication, and so forth. Our speakers will discuss the common challenges that designers and managers most likely have already encountered and some tips on how to work more effectively.

🇺🇸 Boris Savitskiy - Senior UX Manager at Oracle
Boris is originally from Minsk, Belarus, and living in Washington DC for the past 20 years. With 15 years of experience, Boris has worked in various industries like government, technology, education, and startups. Currently, he is a Senior UX Manager at Oracle Database Group, overseeing user experience, design system, and UI components for enterprise products. If you love talking about UX, design systems, sci-fi, star wars, anime, and food, then don't hesitate to reach out.
Fun Fact: Boris runs a food blog called NOM NOM Boris about restaurants in the Washington, DC area, which got him an invitation to be a local guest judge at Bravo Top Chef National Tour in 2011 during their DC visit 🍽
🇨🇦 Jocelyn Chen - Product Designer at ThoughtExchange
Jocelyn is currently designing products and leading the design systems troop at ThoughtExchange. Prior to this, I led the design team at an ed-tech startup called Ensightful.
Fun Fact: She has a slight British accent. However neither has she ever lived in the UK, nor was she born there 🇬🇧

Hawaii born designer and Mom of 2! Google ventures funded startup founder, now leading design on Blue Shield of California’s Health Innovation Technology team.
Fun Fact: Names all her dogs after Mario Kart characters— Baby Toad, my French Bulldog is our newest edition 🐶
